Explanation:
ASR Detect ™ is a field test kit to identify the alkaline silica reaction (ASR) in concrete. On the broken surface of a concrete core, two reaction agents are applied, and the excess is rinsed. In contaminated concrete, the resulting stains reveal the presence of ASR.The spots also reveal the size of the ASR in concrete and indicate the progress of the ASR. Yellow indicates that the distortion has begun; pink indicates that the distortion has progressed.
