Explanation:
This test starts like a standard slump test, but many test technicians will turn the cone upside down to make it easier to fill. When the cone is lifted, self-settling concrete spreads like flat dough.
The slump flow is measured in diameter of this flat dough. Typical self-settling concrete mixtures have slump flows of between 18 and 30 inches.
The Test set is supplied with steel slump Cone, printing bar, skewing bar and 36” diameter tray.
Steel weighted collar is optional and must be ordered separately.
