Automatic Digital CBR Experiment Device


FR-Z 075/b,

it is designed to find CBR values for basic and sub-basic materials used in road construction with a grain size of less than 19 mm (¾ in) and strength values for cohesive materials.

Electromechanical piston moving device with rigid double column body and height adjustable top beam, 50 KN capacity and data collection and control unit.

The CBR (transport ratio) experiment requires the penetration piston to apply a load to the soil sample at a defined displacement rate, measuring the amount of load and penetration at regular intervals. Using the digital data collection and control unit, the piston speed can be adjusted from 0.5 to 5 mm/min. Thanks to this main feature, experiments in accordance with BS, TS en, ASTM or AASHTO standards can be performed with the same device.

Using the Up/Down buttons on the front panel, the piston’s contact distance to the sample can be quickly adjusted.

FR-Z 075/b CBR device, 50 KN capacity load cell, penetration piston, linear Potentiometric displacement sensor (25 mm x 0.001 mm) computer software and connection cable are included. The computer is optional.
