Fast Moisture Meter is used for land measurement of moisture content in soil, sand and fine aggregates. The use of the device is quite simple. The amount and pressure of gas released when calcium carbide reacts with moisture in the sample is directly related to the amount of moisture. The resulting gas pressure can be easily read from the indicator on the container as a percentage of moisture in the sample.
This model is used to determine the moisture content of 20g samples, which contain up to 20% moisture.
