FR-AG54
Explanation:
The slake durability (water dispersal) Tester was developed to simulate climatic wear and to assess the rock’s resilience to weakening and fragmentation when exposed to climatic effects.
The rock samples are dried and then subjected to Wear Stress inside a drum rotated in water.
The Test is performed many times, and wear is measured by the loss in the weight of the sample.
Through a motor drive unit mounted on the base plate, it can rotate two stainless steel drums with 2 mm pores, 140 mm diameter and 100 mm length.
The tanks are filled with water up to 20 mm below the drum axis.
The digital timer automatically stops the engine at the set time. The device can rotate two or four drums at 20 rpm.
Supplied with 2 Test drums, base plate and accessories.
