Explanation:

Automatic sample surface etching device is used in the preparation of cylinder-shaped concrete samples (including core cut from the structure) for pressure resistance experiment in accordance with TS en and ASTM standards.

In the fast, easy and error-free preparation of cylinder-shaped samples for pressure resistance experiment, the method that guarantees the parallelism and smoothness of the surfaces to be applied pressure is abrasive.

By using a skid and water retention panel suitable for the sample size, three cylinder samples with a diameter of 38 to 100 mm at the same time, or two cylinder samples with a diameter of 150-160 mm, can wear out the surfaces on which the load will be applied in the experiment. Sample length should be at least 75 mm.

The device automatically adjusts the rate of etching and sample progress depending on the selected sample size. The device has a water discharge system that can drain the water used during the etching process without scattering it around.

2 150×300 mm cylinders, 3 50 mm to 100 mm diameter (length at least 75 mm) cylinders or one 150 mm cube sample surface can be corrected at the same time.

Adaptors required for 100×200 mm, 150×300 mm cylinder and 150×150 mm cube numuleri are provided with the device.

In a cylinder sample that meets TS en and ASTM standards, the deviation of the surfaces to be applied should be no more than 0.05 mm from the flatness, and the deviation of the side face from the steepness relative to the lower and upper surfaces should be no more than 0.50.

The etching time can be selected by the user from 50 to 400 seconds. The optimal etching time is between 90 and 120 seconds for one edge of the cylinder samples connected to the device.

The accuracy of parallelism is less than 1.5 mm when both surfaces are corroded in the device.

For easy movement and operation, the control unit should be able to rotate 360 degrees horizontally and has wheels.

The skid to which the sample is connected moves bidirectional fully automatic. Ergonomic design suitable for Occupational Health and safety prevents user from being exposed to water and dust

Samples can be easily connected to the skid. The skid and water retention panels can be easily replaced without the use of any equipment.

Easy displacement with the help of lockable wheels.

For light weight, the body frame of the device is made of aluminum, and the outer sheet is made of stainless steel for corrosion resistance.

Water retention panels for Cube samples or cylinder samples of different diameters should be ordered separately.
