James Bond Tester ™ MK III or attached to the material at the bottom of the unit tensile adhesion test 50 mm (2 inch) disk pulling a steel, concrete, asphalt, tile, concrete, repair, or other coating materials with the method of direct tension or pull adhesion tensile strength or resistance measures. If repairs in concrete structures or additional coatings in existing concrete are structurally sound, sufficient direct tensile strength between the two layers is important. The James Bond Tester ™ MK III involves gluing a circular steel disc to the surface via an epoxy resin adhesive. A controlled tensile force is then applied to the disc. Damage occurs in the parent material or at the weakest point of the bond between the coating and the parent material.
