Explanation:
Rotating Thin Film Etuv (RTFO) is used to measure the resistance of moving and thin film semi-solid asphalt materials/bitumen or bituminous binders to hardening under the common influence of heat and air by RTFOT method.

The control system is digital PID controlled and the time is set. It’s circulated. There is a rotating motor (15 dv/min), Vertical platform and air intake for the compressor. A flow meter is available to adjust the airflow.
The front cover of the rotating Thin Film skirt is double glazed. Its inner surface is made of stainless steel and its outer surface is electrostatic powder coated.
Precision digital thermostat is supplied with 8 64mm x 140mm glass sample containers to maintain a temperature of 163 °C.
