Within the framework of the principle of continuous development, our General Directorate closely follows technological developments; The “Disaster Technologies Device Training”, which is aimed at theoretical and practical training of the devices related to Mobile Laboratory Vehicle (MOLAB), Mobile Building Monitoring Vehicle (Building Tracking Sensor) and Integrated Building Movement Systems, which are technological devices and vehicles with special software, was carried out between 25/02/2025 and 01/03/2025 in Rize Province with the participation of 150 personnel working in 81 Provincial Directorates.
Istanbul Technical University lecturer Prof. Dr. Rahmi Nurhan ÇELİK on Integrated Building Movements and Malatya Turgut Özal University lecturer Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Esen EREN on Non-Destructive Testing Methods made presentations. In addition, following the February 6, 2023 Kahramanmaraş centered earthquakes, Abdulkadir TEZCAN, Head of the Disaster Risk Reduction and Prevention Department from the Ministry of Interior Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency, provided information to the participants on both sharing their experiences and Communication Techniques in Disasters.
In the training, where private sector representatives were also present, comprehensive presentations were made to the participants about the damage detection processes carried out under the coordination of our General Directorate and the devices used in integrated structure movements, and practical training was carried out in the Mobile Laboratory Vehicle (MOLAB) in the inventory of our General Directorate. In addition, the participants were informed about the problems experienced in the field and solution suggestions.
