In hand-operated models, the drop speed is adjusted by the user by rotating the handwheel. In engine-powered models, with the help of mechanical fittings and motor speed reducer, the spread table is provided to fall in the number and time appropriate to the standard. When the number of drops reaches the preset number displayed on the rev counter, the device automatically stops.
The spreading table is supplied with a brass spreading mold and a brass covered wooden mallet weighing 250 g measuring Ø40×200 mm.
