The CDF \/ CIF test ensures that the freeze-thaw test is performed in accordance with the CDF recommendations of Rimem. The advantage of this test method is that the results given are very good reproducibility. With this test procedure, the amount of wear of a surface is measured by a series of freeze-thaw cycles. Thus, the test samples are placed in a sodium chloride solution to take effect on its surface.
