This test basin is designed to study the effects of the various hydraulic phenomena in coastal waters by simulating such conditions by a current generator and a wave maker. The studies aim at prevention of erosion of coastal land and utilization of such land.

The wave maker is controlled by the computerized control system to generate irregular waves.
